Yes, I probably could have managed it to the end of the dungeon with a heavlity stressed out and damaged party, but the game just don't feel good to play. I quit after my second mission after the enemy party buffed themselves to oblivion during prep round and then went on to crit me 3 times in a row. I would be ready to look past those issues if not for the games difficulty. It looks disturbing to me, but perhpahs some folks will like it (yikes).

There are a lot of outstanding illustrations and artwork but there are also some that clearly show the particular kind of fetish some artists are into. My second gripe is with the game's visuals. Traps SFX are very tame in comparisson to the original DD and it gives you this weird mismatch between what you see on the screen (you hero being heavily stressed out and/or damaged, screen shaking and so on) and the sound that is very lacking. There are moments of silence when you are exploring dungeons and it feels very empty, there is often no music and it feels like the narrator tunes in less often than in original game.

However, there are things that I find lacking in terms of their visual or audio design or straight up don't like. As many have mentioned before the mod is very well done, the narrator perfectly reflects the atmosphere of the sandy forgotten land filled with artifact and treasures, and the overall setting is quite interesting.
